Spring is here....

Happy Sunday to everyone. Today has been a great day for me. Beautiful and sunny and a Happy 37th Birthday to me. I like to think that I am getting wiser with age. HA ha ha.... :)
Some great challenges out there. I am so enjoying http://www.handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com/. I also tried another challenge from http://mirrorimage.typepad.com/. Had great fun with both of them. Well, another week has just sliped by me. My youngest daughter has been sick all week with a double ear infection, Yikes... I was trying to stay healthy and of course I got sick, Thank goodness it was mild. So, I finally got some time to slip away and play with some stamps. Yet, another great challenge from http://www.handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com/ This was my first time doing the faux metal. I think it's pretty cool. I enjoyed doing this challenge. I used Black as the base, then Holiday Lounge DSP (real red) backed on White. Then stamped with black and used Real Red markers. For the Faux Metal I used Silver embossing. OK, I could not decided. I had so much fun with these wonderful spring colors. I made another card using the same challenge form http://www.handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com/. It has been a long week for me and not much time to make some cards. My girls just had cheer compettion this weekend and Wow what a great day for them. Love my girls. So proud of you. So, I finally got some time to play with my stampin stuff. (Hip Hip Horay... ) :) I was up early this morning even with the spring forward. I created wtih another great challenge from http://www.handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com/ I love these colors, it also help put me in the mood for spring. The base is Close to Coco, then stamped Old Olive and So Saffron on Very Vanilla.

Wow, this was truly a challenge for me. So many colors and after 2 days of thinking, I finally came up with a card. This was a lot of colors for me but I gave it a try. I was going more for a crisp clean look since there was many colors. The base is Kiwi Kiss, White backed with Not Quite Navy, I stamped on the white with Brilliant Blue, Bashful Blue, Glorious Green and Old Olive.
